Privacy policy

Warren’s Home and Pet Care collects the least it can and keeps it for as long as the work and the law require. This page says what, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

• What you tell us. Your name, email address, phone number, the address we clean, and anything you write in a message or a form.
• What the job needs. How to get in, whether there are animals, allergies, parking, and anything else somebody standing at your door has to know.
• What happened. When we visited, who came, what was done, what you were quoted, and what you paid.
• How you reached us. The IP address and browser of a form submission, which is how we tell a real enquiry from a bot and how we can show what you agreed to and when.

We do not hold your card details. Payments are taken on Stripe's own pages; the number never reaches our servers.

Why we hold it

To quote the work, to do it, to invoice for it, to contact you about it, and to keep the records a business has to keep. We do not profile you, we do not sell anything, and nothing here is used to advertise to you.

Text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Our text message policy says exactly what we send, what you agreed to, and how to stop it.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that run parts of this service for us, only for that purpose, and never for their own marketing:

• Resend. Delivers email.
• Cloudflare. Serves the website and screens the contact form for bots.
• Expo. Delivers push notifications to our team's phones.

We also hand over what the law requires us to, and nothing beyond it. We do not sell personal information, and we never have.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere are cleared out. Quotes, signed agreements, invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax and contract law require. Signed agreements and the audit record behind them cannot be altered or deleted, by design — that is what makes them worth having.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction to it, or its deletion where we are not required to keep it. To stop texts, reply STOP to any message. To stop emails, write to us or call us using the details below and we will stop sending them.

Children

This is a service for householders and businesses. We do not knowingly collect anything from anybody under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Signed agreements and uploaded documents are held in private storage that no web server points at, and reaching one requires signing in, holding the right permission, and leaves a record of who opened it.
